A network called Internet

Do you remember the days before the Internet? I do vaguely.

Take a look at this Video made back in 1993. It really shows you just how far things have moved on from there, and how quickly.

Also, I challenge you to listen to the computer user interviewee talking about the etiquette of early Internet users without thinking "what a load of bollocks".

Them wacky Canucks.

Had to laugh when a message from Oslo, Norway was displayed with the Swedish flag above the caption. American's geography was as bad then as it is today.

I can't believe they didn't mention porn in the whole story...

I had to go back and watch the video as I hadn't noticed that before.

Imagine my shock when I realised that is in fact transplanted Americans such as Phut who have geography problems. Ignoring the fact the video was Canadian, the flag was definitely the Norweigan one.

However, it could be my screen colour not showing blue properly, but the guy in Milan appeared to have the French flag.

Granted, I missed the fact it was a Canadian: I'm even more surprised they didn't mention porn now.

However, transplanted Frenchmen (such as yourself) do appear to have flag-recognition problems. Have a gander at this.
